A Noction Case Study
Digital Pacific, an Australian web hosting provider with services across five data centres worldwide, needed a way to maintain strong network performance as its infrastructure grew. In its primary Sydney data centre, the company relied on multiple gigabit IP transit and peering links, but route quality issues outside its control made it difficult to consistently deliver the best possible service. Noction’s Intelligent Routing Platform (IRP) was chosen to help improve routing decisions.
Noction deployed IRP at Digital Pacific’s Sydney site to automatically select the best Internet routes based on real-time network performance data. Within the first month, Digital Pacific saw an average 22% reduction in network latency and a 90% improvement in packet loss for nearly a quarter of its total traffic, while also lowering transit costs through Noction’s Commit Control feature and reporting tools.
