A NMI Case Study
Small World Money Transfer, a global remittance provider with 6,000 agencies in 21 countries, faced operational drag from working with double-digit payment vendors and processors. That multivendor setup forced reliance on cash, required re‑keying customer data at terminals, and created time‑consuming reconciliation and vendor management headaches. To address this, Small World selected NMI’s ChipDNA Gateway (paired with Credorax payment processing/acquiring) to standardize its card‑present payments.
NMI implemented the ChipDNA solution and standalone terminals across agencies, going live within 10 days and reducing Small World’s payment partners to two. The rollout gave agencies flexible terminal choices, eliminated duplicate data entry, enabled the company to promote card transactions, and provided consolidated visibility through the NMI reporting tool. As a result, Small World achieved faster, more secure customer payments, simpler back‑office reconciliation, and measurable operational gains from the rapid, two‑vendor deployment.
