Fujitsu UK & Ireland, a 9,000-employee provider of AI, IoT and cloud-enabled services, needed a new data centre infrastructure management (DCIM) platform to support ~4,000 racks across EMEA (planned to grow to 6,000). After Emerson/Vertiv discontinued Aperture, Fujitsu ran a proof-of-concept with the three Gartner-recognized DCIM vendors to find a solution that delivered asset tracking, billing, metered data, workflow, capacity management and lower support costs.

Fujitsu selected Nlyte for its stronger ROI, advanced features, out-of-the-box ServiceNow connectors and collaborative roadmap. Integrated with Daxten and Packet Power for power metering, the largely in-house deployment sped time-to-value. Results included faster ROI (1-year payback on Nlyte Energy Optimizer), improved workflows and event management, richer reporting, better energy chargeback and simplified EMEA expandability with lower ongoing maintenance costs.
