Zebra Technologies, a Lincolnshire, Illinois–based provider of tracking hardware and operational visibility solutions with about 7,000 employees, faced a major change-management challenge after acquiring Motorola Solutions’ Enterprise business in 2014. With a large influx of knowledge workers unfamiliar with Zebra’s chosen PDF tools, leaders needed to merge processes and drive companywide adoption of a secure, scalable document productivity solution—so they selected Nitro for its value, ease of use, and scalability.
Working with Nitro’s Customer Success and Support teams, Zebra rolled out targeted communications, a customized training microsite with helpdesk integration and usage analytics, and an intuitive Office-like interface to reduce friction for first-time users. The result was a smooth migration, accelerated user adoption, limited resistance, and a standardized, affordable PDF workflow across the organization—backed by an ongoing partnership between Zebra and Nitro.
