Nitro Measures Up for Land Surveys

Land Surveys is a Western Australian engineering survey company founded in 1997 that now employs 220 people across Australia and internationally, delivering surveying services for projects from commercial builds to large mining infrastructure. Working frequently in remote locations, the team struggled with inefficient paper-based workflows—print, mark up, scan and send—and was hampered by the high cost of Adobe Acrobat licences, creating bottlenecks and delays in getting documents to clients.

In March 2015 Land Surveys deployed Nitro, initially to a few power users and quickly expanding licences company-wide thanks to its intuitive rollout and local support. Nitro’s editing, e-signature and collaboration tools cut onsite document turnaround by up to two hours, tripled the number of employees with PDF tools compared to Acrobat, required no training to onboard, and delivered significant cost savings (about one-third the cost of Acrobat), boosting productivity and employee satisfaction.
