Leonardo DRS, a defense and aerospace integrator with 5,500+ employees and 40+ North American and UK locations, launched a 2013 IT centralization initiative and identified inconsistent, locally purchased PDF tools as a drag on efficiency. Disparate solutions left many users without editing capabilities, created disjointed license management, and introduced security and compliance risks across the organization.
To address this, Leonardo DRS signed a 2015 enterprise agreement standardizing on Nitro Pro for its knowledge workers, covering more than 2,200 users. The rollout simplified licensing and IT administration, leveraged Nitro’s Office-like interface for fast adoption, standardized training and support, improved user productivity, and centralized and reduced the company’s PDF budget.
