CGI Norway launches school messaging app with Niteco and reaches 75,000 downloads

CGI Norway, a subsidiary of a global IT services firm, sought assistance to deliver a comprehensive digital solution for a regional school district. The challenge involved a complete UI/UX overhaul for a website with 180 sub-sites, the development of a new back-end operations portal, and the creation of a user-friendly messaging app. To meet these needs, CGI Norway partnered with vendor Niteco to complement its own skills and resources.

Niteco employed its dual-shore model, utilizing Angular 2 for the web and portal overhauls and React Native to build the intuitive messaging app. The project was a success, delivering a highly praised messaging app that was downloaded 75,000 times and received very positive feedback for its ease of use. As a result of this successful collaboration, CGI was very satisfied and continued to engage Niteco’s augmentation services.
