Wyndham Hotels and Resorts faced a major integration challenge after acquiring La Quinta: rapidly onboarding 900 hotels and training staff on company policies and six different computer systems while under tight time pressure and without expanding headcount. The scope and speed required made manual process discovery costly and risky and could have forced Wyndham to hire hundreds of temporary employees.

Using Nintex Process Discovery and Nintex RPA, Wyndham quickly identified 79 onboarding processes (26 ideal for automation), imported and refined workflows, and deployed robots to streamline training and system integration. The program completed full onboarding across six systems in 10 months, saved more than 674 work hours, eliminated the need to hire about 500 temporary employees, and enabled smooth, on-time integration of all 900 hotels.
