TLC for Kids is an Australian charity that supports sick children and their families across hospitals in Australia and New Zealand. Faced with rising requests and the upcoming TLC Ambulance service, staff were spending significant time manually creating patient and referrer confirmation letters using Google Docs templates and cut-and-paste workflows.
The organisation deployed Nintex Drawloop DocGen for Salesforce to automate document generation and integrate with existing records. Templates are now auto-populated from service request data, saving about 15 minutes per letter (around 400 letters annually), improving response times, freeing staff for other activities, and providing more accurate healthcare details for services — with further savings expected when donor communications are moved into Salesforce.
