A Nintex Case Study
Institution for Savings (IFS), a $2 billion community bank in Massachusetts founded in 1820, faced multiple time-consuming manual processes after a core system migration and ongoing maintenance needs. Inconsistent formatting from the 2009 conversion, redundant risk fields that conflicted with a new BSA solution, and a state withholding-rate change affecting about 200 IRA accounts meant staff would otherwise have to manually update as many as 15,000–20,000 customer records.
IFS deployed Nintex Foxtrot RPA to automate presentation-layer data entry and maintenance by scripting routine tasks. Foxtrot turned days-long cleanups into hours-long automated jobs—accurately updating IRA withholding rates and removing redundant fields across up to 20,000 records—saving significant time, reducing errors, and avoiding costly vendor-led fixes.
