A Nintex Case Study
Potter Clarkson is a fast‑growing UK intellectual property law firm with seven offices across four European countries. Faced with rapidly increasing volumes of new matters, thousands of monthly record changes and over 1,000 incoming mail items a week, the firm struggled with inconsistent, manual processes that could take days to open a matter, delayed change requests and made remote working difficult—challenges that intensified as the business expanded and during the COVID‑19 lockdown.
Using Nintex K2 Cloud to standardize workflows, digital forms and API integrations with its records and finance systems, Potter Clarkson automated matter intake, change requests and mail distribution, and routed documents into iManage workspaces. The result: new matters are set up in hours instead of days, change requests average under 30 minutes, the firm handles about 6,000 changes a month and 1,000 items of mail weekly, 220 staff can work from home using the workflows, and consistency, traceability and ISO accreditations have been maintained.
