Case Study: Sime Darby Industrial achieves 6,000 hours saved and $900K ROI with Nintex

A Nintex Case Study

Preview of the Sime Darby Industrial Case Study

Sime Darby Industrial delivers measurable ROI by digitizing forms and processes with Nintex

Sime Darby Industrial, an Australian supplier of heavy machinery, launched an organization-wide digital transformation to support customers, employees and e‑commerce. Facing rapid growth and the need to scale faster, the company moved away from exclusively in‑house development, consolidated multiple form solutions to reduce tech debt, and sought to automate manual, paper‑based processes across safety, procurement and HR.

Using Nintex, Sime Darby digitized and automated forms and workflows — from ERP‑integrated PO approvals and IT onboarding to pre‑start safety checks — and deployed tablets and kiosks for field use while building a 24‑person citizen developer program with IT governance. The initiative returned about 6,000 hours and roughly $900,000 to the business over FY22 and part of FY23, drove hundreds of thousands of form submissions in year one, and reduced tech debt while improving approval speed and mobile access.
