The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) oversees transit, parking, bicycling and MUNI across San Francisco. Faced with agency-wide paper forms and manual, email-driven processes—particularly in supply-chain and request workflows that left stakeholders out, dropped threads, and caused delays—SFMTA set out to digitize operations for better coordination, tracking and accountability.

For eight years SFMTA has used the Nintex Platform (with partner KnowledgeLake) to convert legacy InfoPath forms, deploy Nintex Forms and automate internal and external workflows—examples include alternative work schedules, return-to-work medical clearances and video-surveillance requests.
