A Nintex Case Study
WorkSafeBC, the Canadian public health agency that supports more than 100,000 employers and handles roughly 145,000 claims a year, was struggling with an increasing number of manually managed systems and outdated Outlook/Exchange forms that slowed work, reduced quality, and limited visibility and audit-ability across its 3,000‑person organization.
Working with partner DMS to implement Nintex K2 Five and SmartForms, WorkSafeBC automated workflows for travel requests, claims filing, invoice approval, records retrieval and migrated 75 legacy forms—becoming fully productive in about six months. The result was faster, cheaper processing, real-time approval visibility, stronger audit trails, and easier no-code development so non-developers can build and sustain processes.
