Nonprofit Devotes 5,000+ More Hours to Meaningful Work Using Automated Workflows

United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Bangladesh, which supports governance, poverty reduction and development programs, was hampered by slow, manual operational workflows. Routine tasks such as procurement and vendor updates involved dozens of steps, frequent travel for approvals and more than 1,000 annual requests, diverting staff from direct program work.

UNDP deployed Nintex Workflow with Microsoft SharePoint to automate procurement and vendor-management processes, enabling online and mobile approvals and faster workflow development. The automation cut development time, reduced costs, improved service delivery and saved more than 5,000 staff hours a year, reaching break-even in under a year.
