Case Study: De Heus achieves paperless, automated accounts payable with Nintex K2 Five

A Nintex Case Study

Preview of the De Heus Case Study

Modern food production requires modern software solutions

De Heus a.s., a major Czech feed producer selling in more than 35 countries, faced an inefficient, paper-based accounts payable process: invoices were printed, routed manually, often lost or delayed, and data was rekeyed into ERP systems. The lack of a central document management system and controlled access to contracts caused slow approvals, audit risks and poor supplier experience.

Working with Konica Minolta, De Heus implemented a digital solution using Microsoft SharePoint as a DMS, ScanFlow for invoice capture and Nintex K2 Five to automate workflows. Invoices are now digitized, data-extracted and routed via AI-driven, multi-stage approvals with integration to ABRA Gen/Integra, attachment checks, automatic posting and notifications. The result is full visibility and tracking, faster, more reliable payments, better vendor satisfaction, secure permissioned access and easier remote working, with the solution ready to expand to new facilities.
