A Nintex Case Study
Metro Pacific Investments Corporation (MPIC), a Philippines-based infrastructure investment holding company with interests in water, power, toll roads and healthcare, faced slow, paper-based expense/reimbursement and contract-management processes that led to misplaced or duplicate applications, long turnaround times and compliance concerns. MPIC needed a solution that integrated with Microsoft SharePoint and InfoPath to provide better controls, visibility and remote access for staff.
MPIC implemented K2 Five workflows (integrated with SharePoint/InfoPath) to automate routing by Cost Center, use a queue system for impartial approvals, and apply escalation rules and reminders. The change cut expense/reimbursement turnaround from 1–2 weeks to 3–5 days (over 50% faster), improved tracking and notifications, enabled immediate contract retrieval for audits, and greatly reduced duplicate or misplaced submissions.
