KBR, a global technology and government contractor, faced rising travel-related risks but relied on a paper-based travel request process that only about 70% of employees used and that provided little ongoing visibility or actionable data. The company needed a reliable, scalable way to deliver safety guidance, ensure approvals for high-risk travel, and gain insights to guide policy and responses.

KBR built a Travel Management Plan on Nintex Workflow Cloud—using multilingual forms, automated risk checks and approval routing, and personalized Safety, Health & Security Plans—while feeding track-and-trend data into Power BI. As a result, travel request compliance rose to 99%, booking compliance to 90%, emergency response and preparedness improved, and the same Nintex approach was extended to COVID return-to-work tracking and other workflows.
