International Executive Service Corps (IESC) is a U.S.-based non-profit founded in 1964 that leverages U.S. public and private sector expertise to promote economic development worldwide. After migrating from Lotus Notes to Office 365, staff and volunteers found out-of-the-box SharePoint forms and workflows difficult to use, leading to low adoption and risky email workarounds that threatened compliance and auditability.
IESC implemented Nintex for Office 365 (workflow, forms, mobile), integrating natively with DocuSign and Taleo to automate leave requests, contractor management and invoice approvals. The solution cut invoice approval time by 80% (from seven days to about 1.5), raised productivity by 350%, increased Office 365 active use tenfold, and delivered auditable processes that reduce compliance risk.
