Industry Fund Services (IFS) is an Australian wealth management firm that provides specialist financial products and services to superannuation funds and other clients. Facing slow, repetitive onboarding and collaboration processes—compounded by remote staff, security concerns and a poor experience with past SharePoint implementations—IFS needed a way to standardize workflows, speed up new‑hire readiness and increase staff and customer engagement.
IFS built an in‑house Welcome Portal using Nintex Forms and Nintex Workflows integrated with SharePoint, automating data capture, payroll setup and IT provisioning and effectively creating a “mini‑CRM.” The solution (now running about 20 workflows) cut roughly three hours of staff time per new starter, saved about $3,000 in development costs per workflow, improved data visibility and issue resolution, and boosted professionalism, engagement and retention.
