A Nintex Case Study
Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia, a nonprofit that provides job training and employment services across the region, needed to modernize its IT as it migrated from SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint 2019. Heavy reliance on InfoPath, SharePoint Designer workflows and CodePlex adapters created usability limits, fragile browser integrations, and no easy way to move data to SQL—leaving key processes like billing reliant on error-prone spreadsheets and taking 10+ working days to complete.
The IT team replaced InfoPath and SharePoint Designer with Nintex Workflows and Forms, building a transactional billing application that connects to SQL Server and SSRS for validation, auditing and reporting. Automation and daily data validation cut the billing process to 3–5 days, doubled productivity, and delivered a more robust, no-code platform that lets the team create more complex, efficient workflows with community and vendor support.
