A Nintex Case Study
The Infringement Management and Enforcement Services (IMES) unit at Victoria’s Department of Justice and Regulation — a 170-person team responsible for road safety, civil compliance, debt collection and support services — was hampered by procedures stored in disparate Word and Visio files. That approach produced inconsistent, hard-to-find instructions, unclear process ownership, out-of-date documentation and a weak induction experience, which meant processes were often not followed.
After a 12-month trial IMES adopted Promapp’s cloud-based process management, using its intuitive editor, search, glossary, version history, sharing and a risk add-on. The solution brought process ownership closer to the people doing the work, standardized and documented workflows, improved accountability and induction, and made suggestions, historical versions and process knowledge easy to access and share.
