A Nintex Case Study
The County Court of Victoria, which hears about 12,000 criminal and civil cases a year for Victoria’s 6.4 million residents, struggled with overwhelming paperwork and a legacy case-management system that didn’t cover many processes. Staff faced slow, manual workflows—hundreds of pieces of correspondence printed and routed by hand—and a painful, fragmented audit process that required pulling files from multiple locations.
Working with i2 Management, the Court implemented Nintex K2 Five to digitize forms, automate workflows (including directions correspondence and audits), and integrate with its iManage system. The solution delivered dramatic efficiencies: audits dropped from multi-person, three-day efforts to one person in about four hours (an 88% decrease in audit time), court orders are processed up to 90% faster, version control and routing improved, and data captured via SmartForms supports better scheduling, reporting and service to the public.
