Bender Group Boosts Efficiency with Process Automation from Nintex

Bender Group, a German manufacturer of electrical safety monitoring systems, faced inefficient, paper-based internal processes—especially in quality management—where fault reports took three to four days to arrive. The company also needed to capture retiring employees’ institutional knowledge and wanted a more collaborative, maintainable solution than custom SharePoint Designer workflows.

Working with partner IPI GmbH, Bender deployed a SharePoint 2010 collaboration environment with the Nintex platform to replace paper forms and automate workflows (quality submissions, IT tickets, site requests, file naming, etc.). The change eliminated paper processes, delivered product-failure reports the same day, improved accountability and quality management, increased collaboration and efficiency, and established a scalable way to capture knowledge and expand automation across the business.
