Mainfreight USA, the North American arm of the global Mainfreight group, is a $300M logistics business with 28 branches and nearly 600 staff handling international air/ocean, domestic freight and warehousing. Moving from CEO‑directed procedures to a non‑hierarchical, branch‑led culture revealed major challenges: outdated paper manuals, inconsistent processes across regions, and the need to map, manage and communicate compliant, repeatable workflows to hundreds of employees.
Promapp was introduced as a simple, visual process mapping tool with executive support and rapid, expert-led workshops to capture core operations. The result: about 540 processes mapped (half published), faster rollout of changes, easier training and compliance, stronger team ownership and engagement, and a new sales advantage as customers can view and suggest process steps—contributing to improved sales and measurable business growth.
