Christchurch International Airport Limited (CIAL), New Zealand’s second-largest airport handling over 5.7 million passengers a year and employing 300+ staff, needed to implement a new ERP system without disrupting day-to-day operations. Poor integration between property/retail, asset maintenance and finance systems had created inefficiencies, limited visibility and reporting, and made consistent process ownership and change management a priority.
CIAL used Nintex Promapp throughout training, testing and go-live to document and standardize processes, integrate process guidance into the ERP, and assign process owners. The central, accessible knowledge base improved visibility and reporting, simplified administration and operations, reduced disruption during the ERP rollout, and created a sustainable feedback and continuous-improvement loop for ongoing process refinement.
