A Nintex Process Manager Case Study
Mainfreight is a global supply‑chain and logistics provider founded in New Zealand in 1978, now operating across Australia, New Zealand, Europe, the US and Asia with over 6,500 employees and more than US$1.3 billion in revenue. Guided by a 100‑year vision, the company needed to standardize and improve processes following rapid expansion—particularly after a US acquisition—and make those processes instantly accessible and usable company‑wide rather than buried in “dusty” manuals.
Mainfreight piloted Promapp—a web‑based, easy‑to‑use process mapping tool—starting in the US, using Promapp’s training, coaching and hands‑on support to change how teams documented and improved workflows. Adoption was strong (over 11,000 page views in the first year), and the tool helped boost operational and training efficiencies, contributed to a financial turnaround in Mainfreight USA, reinforced accountability through visible KPIs and audits, and supported the company’s longer‑term goal of sustainable, high‑quality performance.
