SWSG (Stuttgart Housing Association) manages meter readings for over 18,000 rental flats and faced a slow, error-prone process of recording readings on paper during house calls and later transcribing them into Excel. Extending their SAP ERP for mobile use was too costly, so SWSG chose Ninox to build a cloud-based, mobile solution.
Using Ninox, SWSG replaced paper forms with iPads that record readings, photos and digital signatures directly into the Ninox Cloud, plus an integrated order management system with automatic assignment and email notifications. The Ninox solution made data immediately available centrally, cut processing time by more than 50%, reduced errors by about 90%, and streamlined documentation and reporting to utilities.
