Efficient Inventory Management for Hospitals

Artemed Group’s Surgical Hospital Munich South (CKMS) faced lengthy, error-prone procurement and inventory processes: many different medicines, materials, and instruments had to be ordered, stocked and billed for each patient, with low storage capacity, long delivery times and items sometimes forgotten during inventory. To address this, Dr Stefan Phillip turned to the low-code platform Ninox to build a tailored, easier-to-use solution.

Using Ninox, Dr Phillip created an article management system with stock monitoring, ordering, real-time consumption entry and a linked patient management system (integrated via barcodes). The Ninox solution keeps stocks under control, eliminates forgotten items, enables earlier, optimized reordering and automatic patient assignment for billing; it has been in regular use for months by 7–8 staff and removed the need for time-consuming manual checks.
