BSH Energie, a Bad Königshofen–based specialist for photovoltaic systems with about 80 employees and over 3,500 completed projects, faced poor visibility and collaboration because rigid industry software forced them to rely on sprawling Excel spreadsheets that couldn’t be edited concurrently. On the recommendation of its web agency, BSH implemented Ninox, a collaborative cloud-based platform for building business applications and managing back-office workflows.

With the web agency and Ninox, BSH migrated existing Excel data in a single day and delivered the solution in about 10 days of development; today 10–15 sales, technical and administrative users work from a single, centralized Ninox system with linked master data and user-defined views. The Ninox deployment significantly reduced data-maintenance effort, improved efficiency and team motivation, enabled management-only statistics via rights management, and set the company up to map additional processes and pursue further integrations.
