Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund discards Excel and optimizes the organization of several centers with Ninox

Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund is a nationwide aid and welfare organization that runs Covid-19 test centers across Germany. At a Barsinghausen site with three test lanes and up to 800 tests per day, registration relied on paper and Excel spreadsheets and even egg timers, which made the process slow, error-prone and costly. To modernize workflows the organization adopted the Ninox low-code, cloud-based platform to replace Excel and streamline operations.

Using Ninox, an ASB member quickly built and deployed an app on iPads to digitize registration, process management, materials and staff qualifications, and to generate certificates and health notifications directly. The Ninox solution made personal data available across lanes, eliminated repeated data entry, and was rolled out to multiple centers—delivering about a 40–50% reduction in administrative time per test (noted as a 50% time saving), fewer errors and lower operating costs.
