Computer Technology Solutions, an MSP in North Mankato managing about 2,000 endpoints with a 15-technician team, struggled after a lengthy, frustrating rollout of Connectwise Automate. The platform’s complexity, outdated interfaces, proprietary scripting and inability to reliably push Windows updates created high management overhead and a steep learning curve. Searching for a simpler RMM, CTS evaluated and adopted NinjaOne (including NinjaOne Professional and NinjaOne Network Management) to replace Automate.
NinjaOne was deployed quickly — CTS says NinjaOne support had them fully running in 30–60 minutes — and delivered reliable Windows patching, fast remote access and easy scripting/automation. Technicians now write and deploy scripts in as little as five minutes, onboard new hires with a 5–10-minute tool walkthrough, automate updates and scheduled tasks across devices, and avoid hiring a dedicated RMM manager. The switch to NinjaOne improved technician efficiency, reduced frustration, and resolved the operational issues CTS experienced with Connectwise.
