A NinjaOne Case Study
The Syscomm Group, an Ontario-based managed service provider handling about 2,500 endpoints, needed to scale its security-first MSP services, tighten compliance and patching, and better defend clients against frequent ransomware threats. To do this they adopted NinjaOne’s RMM and endpoint management capabilities to standardize monitoring, patching, and remote remediation.
NinjaOne was configured to automatically scan environments, push the agent to noncompliant endpoints, enforce remediation or isolate devices, and run scripted patch and remediation workflows; Syscomm also built a proprietary ransomware-detection workflow inside NinjaOne that checks file changes every two minutes and isolates infected devices after hours. The results speak to measurable impact: NinjaOne delivered a 99% reduction in patching time, removed the need for an RMM manager, cut technician connection time from 15 to 5 minutes (about a 50% reduction in remote access time), and helped stop roughly 15–20 ransomware attacks in one year.
