A NinjaOne Case Study
Champlain College’s Leahy Center for Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics needed a way to manage heavily used lab endpoints and give students real-world remote support experience. With 80 students per semester working across 30 lab computers (and a total estate of 150 endpoints), the Center was previously forced to handle inventories, remediation, and forensics computer-by-computer and needed a centralized, secure tool — NinjaOne (NinjaOne Professional, NinjaOne Ticketing, NinjaOne Network Management) — to scale hands-on training and community outreach.
Champlain College deployed NinjaOne’s remote access, activity logs, software management, ticketing and patching capabilities so technicians can identify last users for forensics, install/blacklist apps, and schedule updates outside lab hours. As a result, updates are applied automatically without after-hours work, investigators can quickly trace activity on endpoints, students progress through tiered NinjaOne access as part of their curriculum, and the Leahy Center has expanded support to more nonprofit and small-business clients — all while managing 150 endpoints more efficiently with NinjaOne.
