POZIAM is a social network founded by Robert Breining to support people living with HIV/AIDS and those affected by the disease. Robert wasn’t highly technical but needed an easy, safe place where newly diagnosed people — including those in rural areas with no local support — could ask questions, find peers, and build lasting connections. He chose NING as the platform to turn that vision into a functioning community.

Using NING, Robert built POZIAM with features like volunteer “Greeters,” an introductions forum, featured blogs, a weekly group chat, and an embedded POZIAM Radio show. The result is a thriving, engaged community of over 1,100 members in 40+ countries, regular weekly chats and broadcasts, greater member retention and peer support, and increased visibility at events like World AIDS Day — outcomes Robert credits directly to NING making his vision obtainable and scalable.
