Mathclub Virtual - Customer Case Study
Mathclub Virtual began as a face-to-face math club led by Colombian teacher Bechy that needed to scale when students from other schools and countries wanted to join. To create a virtual home for tutoring, forums, groups, blogs, chat and multimedia lessons, the community was launched on NING’s platform to bring together members and manage online sessions and resources.
Using NING’s tools, Mathclub Virtual grew to thousands of members from more than 20 countries, running online workshops (via WIZIQ and YouTube links), active advising forums and recorded calculus classes. NING’s platform helped the community deliver measurable impact—projects earned a RIBIE award and a National Award for Digital Social Mobilization, and the founder received international invitations and recognition—turning a local club into an award‑winning international learning community.
