swissICT migrates 39,500-pro account Salary Survey to Nine in early 2025

swissICT, an association for the Swiss IT industry, faced a crisis when the operator of its long-running ICT Salary Survey shut down. They needed to quickly migrate the critical survey platform while ensuring it operated under Swiss law, avoided vendor lock-in, and remained under their full control. They partnered with vendor Nine Internet Solutions AG and utilized their Deploio Platform-as-a-Service solution.

Nine, along with implementation partner Renuo AG, provided a solution built on open standards with Swiss hosting, which structurally excluded foreign government access. The migration was completed in early 2025, successfully transferring the survey used by over 230 companies. As a result, swissICT regained full control of its core asset, achieved CyberSAFE certification, and embedded digital sovereignty into its technical operations.
