A Nimble AMS Case Study
The American Society for Surgery of the Hand (ASSH), founded in 1946 and now nearly 4,000 members strong, needed to replace an underperforming, locally hosted AMS. EVP/CEO Mark Anderson—an association veteran—wanted a modern, Salesforce-based platform and a vendor whose culture matched ASSH’s collaborative, service-oriented values, so he led an in-person selection process that prioritized both technology and partner fit.
ASSH chose Nimble AMS and went through a rigorous Discovery and implementation led by NimbleUser; the team delivered fast issue resolution, Salesforce mobile access, and the Community Hub e‑commerce portal. Staff were trained to build Visualforce reports in-house (reducing multi-week, $6K+ vendor costs to same-day work), heavy users reported high satisfaction, member self-service improved, and ASSH gained greater operational efficiency and independence—what Mark calls his best AMS experience.
