The American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS), an international educational society of more than 9,000 members that includes the American Society of Ophthalmic Administrators (ASOA), faced an urgent need to replace a legacy AMS whose support was ending. ASCRS sought a responsive technology partner to consolidate disparate data scattered across systems and documents, integrate multiple tools and websites, and deliver a more intuitive, efficient staff experience.
NimbleUser implemented Nimble AMS on Salesforce using a phased approach—Phase 1 delivered membership management, self-service joins/renewals, and core website and third‑party integrations, while Phase 2 added product sales, education, awards, certification, and marketing integrations. The result is a cloud-based, single source of truth that provides a 360° view of members, real-time website transactions and payment processing, easy reporting without IT, remote staff access, and a user-friendly interface—launched in about three months with strong staff and member satisfaction.
