The American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM) is a 50‑year‑old professional association serving nearly 4,000 members with education, research and networking for sports medicine clinicians. Seeking to reduce membership lapses and boost retention and engagement, AOSSM moved to Nimble AMS (built on Salesforce) to better leverage its data and apply predictive analytics and AI.

Working with the Nimble AMS team, AOSSM used Einstein Prediction Builder and accessible AI tools to analyze donations, purchases, LMS activity, profile completeness and other signals. The model flagged low engagement, missing profile information and early‑career members as top lapse risks, enabling targeted outreach that improved engagement and reduced membership lapses; AOSSM will continue refining the predictive model to forecast donations and event attendance.
