Jarvice ™ and Nimbix Cloud Accelerate Maja Systems’ Launch Of the World’s First Surface-mount Millimeter-wave Antenna

Maja Systems, a Silicon Valley startup designing millimeter-wave interconnect and radiating systems for automotive and data-center applications, needed a faster, more cost-effective way to run complex electromagnetic simulations for its antenna designs. Instead of investing heavily in in-house test equipment and HPC infrastructure, the company turned to Nimbix and its JARVICE cloud platform to support high-resolution modeling and rapid iteration.

Using Nimbix Cloud, Maja Systems ran FEM and FDTD simulations on CPU and GPU resources, including dual K80 GPUs, while Nimbix handled software hosting, license management, maintenance, and support. The result was a major reduction in simulation turnaround time, enabling Maja to launch the world’s first surface-mount mmWave antenna in about a year, speed product development, meet customer deadlines, and generate interest from multiple customers.
