Aaron’s, the retail sales and lease company with nearly 12,000 employees, needed a secure way to centralize internal business processes in ServiceNow without compromising customer data. The Enterprise Process Solutions team wanted to streamline workflows while automatically classifying and protecting sensitive information shared through employee-facing applications.

Nightfall provided Aaron’s with Firewall for AI, integrated into its custom ServiceNow environment via APIs, to detect sensitive data such as Social Security numbers and credit cards using built-in and custom detectors. With Nightfall, Aaron’s reused existing data policies from Slack, improved policy enforcement, and gave HR and internal communications greater peace of mind by reducing the risk of inappropriate data sharing.
