Pearl S Buck International wins AASLH Award of Excellence with Night Kitchen Interactive

Night Kitchen Interactive partnered with Pearl S Buck International to reimagine the historic house tour of the Nobel prize-winning author's home. The challenge was to move beyond a conventional museum experience and transform the tour into a more engaging and impactful dialogue around themes of social justice central to Pearl S. Buck's legacy.

The solution implemented by Night Kitchen Interactive was a delicately installed media experience featuring projected animations, archival photographs, and quotes to facilitate visitor discussion. This new tour, which culminates in an interactive Action Center with iPads, won the AASLH Award of Excellence, the highest honor from the American Association for State and Local History.
