Studio U, a Boston-area fitness studio with locations in Boston and Newton, wanted a more efficient way to reach a broader local audience and bring more people through the door. Executive Director Katie Flanagan Wason handled most of the studio’s marketing in-house, but needed help attracting new customers and gathering feedback beyond email, posters, and social media. To solve this, Studio U turned to Nift’s local customer acquisition and gift card program.
With Nift, Studio U offered a three-class pack to nearby consumers who selected the studio as their preferred gift, and redemptions were integrated with MINDBODY for easy, hands-off tracking. The results were strong: 99% of Nift users were new to Studio U, 60% had already returned or planned to return, and 64% would recommend the studio. Nift also delivered measurable value, with each new customer bringing in an additional $290 on average, while helping Studio U collect feedback and build loyalty.
