Würth, the global fastening and assembly materials leader, needed to replace a homegrown supplier labeling system that was difficult to support, required manual CD-based updates, and caused label errors, relabeling, and shipping delays. The company turned to NiceLabel and its Label Management System to standardize and centralize labeling across its supplier network.

NiceLabel implemented a web printing solution with Label Cloud, full SAP integration, and a WS1-ready labeling platform to support supplier labeling and other use cases. The results included 180 suppliers in 15 countries using the system, complete transparency into supplier labeling, centralized user management and record-keeping, faster label changes, and quicker onboarding of new suppliers, with suppliers printing about 8.5 million labels per year.
