Case Study: Northamptonshire Police achieves faster, more effective justice with NICE Public Safety & Justice (NICE Investigate)

A NICE Public Safety & Justice Case Study

Preview of the Northamptonshire Police Case Study

Digitally transforming investigations for swifter and more effective justice

Northamptonshire Police, a 1,350‑officer force in England, faced rising volumes and variety of digital evidence—alongside organised and county‑line crime—while pursuing a Futures Project 25 digital transformation. To streamline manual collection, analysis and sharing processes the force selected NICE Public Safety & Justice and its NICE Investigate solution to improve detective productivity and accelerate investigations.

NICE Public Safety & Justice implemented NICE Investigate across the force, integrating it with NicheRMS, STORM, 999 call recordings and Fotoware, and enabling a Community Portal for public and business video submissions. The platform automates case building and one‑pane evidence viewing for all 1,350 officers, cutting days‑long evidence transfer to instant electronic sharing, improving ease of collaboration with other forces and the CPS, and delivering measurable time and efficiency gains that have supported more successful prosecutions and remand applications.
