The solution implemented by NHS Employers was a pilot program utilizing a peer vaccinator model. The vendor's approach involved training the health board's own flu champions to administer the vaccinations, empowering the division to run its own campaign. This strategy led to 475 staff being vaccinated, achieving a significant 16.3 per cent improvement in uptake for the division.
