Transforming Customer Engagement at a Multinational Bank with Real-Time Campaigns

Multinational Bank, a universal bank with more than 1,200 branches across 70+ countries, needed a platform to improve customer engagement and orchestrate omnichannel interactions in real time. The bank’s retail data analytics team sought one-to-one marketing capabilities to target customers with the most appropriate products and to respond instantly to events (such as credit card transactions), so they could personalize offers, reduce irrelevant contact, and run multiple real-time campaigns across countries. They selected NGDATA and its IEP to meet these challenges.

NGDATA deployed its IEP to collect and process 300+ real-time transactions per minute, build Customer DNA profiles and drive real-time, next-best-action banner personalization across web, mobile and tablet channels. Within two weeks the bank had built 372K profiles, served 106K more relevant banners to 30K customers, and implemented predictive churn and acquisition models; results included a 25% uplift in banner click-throughs and conversions, a 24% reduction in marketing pressure on the addressed population, faster time-to-market for campaigns and ongoing cross-channel personalization driven by NGDATA’s IEP.
