Bausch & Lomb, a global leader in eye-care products, faced an aging, poorly maintained data-exchange system that regularly missed strict SLAs and put order fulfillment and regulatory compliance at risk. To modernize integrations with cloud applications and support many data formats, Bausch & Lomb engaged NGDATA (in partnership with Informatica) to deliver a B2B Data Exchange solution.

NGDATA built a real-time processing hub for EDI, EDIFACT and custom formats that translates between dozens of internal systems and thousands of external partners, with comprehensive logging, notification and advanced exception handling. The NGDATA solution eliminated transaction loss, onboarded thousands of partners, converted the majority of legacy interfaces in six months, delivered scalable reusable architecture, enabled Salesforce-driven sale-to-delivery tracking, and reduced costs through a hybrid onshore–offshore implementation.
