Evy of California is a Los Angeles–based designer and producer of licensed children’s apparel for major retailers (Walmart, Target, Macy’s, etc.), making about 20 million units a year and growing roughly 20% annually. That scale — with 90% of production in Asia, production runs of 5,000–100,000 units, and split sourcing across countries — created complex sourcing, quality and social-compliance challenges and long lead times that risked retailer stockouts if anything went wrong.

To address this Evy uses NGC’s Global Enterprise Suite (PLM, SCM/global sourcing and ERP). Factory-entered production data and images, exception reporting, and design-level component specifications have improved supplier communication, quality control and compliance monitoring, and enabled faster production starts. Evy is also targeting a reduction in Asian lead time (from ~170 to 100 days for one-third of production), and continues to expand its use of NGC to scale operations and respond more quickly to retail demand.
